No other industry but organising events and conferences gives young people the opportunity to gain skills such as entrepreneurship, problem solving, ability to multitask, see both big picture and small details, inculcate customer service and apply technology to create and build something new every day.

The movement control order did not stop Chef Vincent, Senior Lecturer of Taylor’s Culinary Institute from conducting a “Cook at Home” session for our new batch of culinary students.

The session was streamed using a body camera, it was an innovative way in teaching that gave viewers the feel of being in the kitchen by viewing the session through the chef’s perspective.

During the 90-minute session, Chef Vincent taught viewers on how to make a hot cross bun along with an English Trifle from home.
