The January 2020 semester began with a new module for event students called Sustainable Events Management (EVT61704). This module introduces global environmental issues and various components related to sustainable event management. A study trip was arranged for the first batch of 8 students (BE17) to visit the iconic Diamond Building in Putrajaya to offer a more in depth understanding of sustainability features for indoor venues. It is hoped that exploring such venues would assist students in designing experiences to develop and manage environmentally sustainable events.
