Industry Insights on "Secrets to Successful Exhibition Marketing"


A lot of effort, not to mention a substantial amount of time and budget, goes into participation in exhibitions. How much do you need to prepare to ensure that your investment yields the expected returns? The School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events (SHTE) was indeed fortunate to be able to gain insights from Industry Leaders such as Mr. Kenneth Fong, Sales Director at Messe Worldwide and Honorary Secretary of Malaysia Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS).


In an online session entitled “The Secrets to Successful Exhibition Marketing” via Zoom, Mr. Fong shared his experience and practical tips on the topic. The attendees posed many questions to Mr. Fong in hope of getting a head start when they enter the exhibitions industry. Although specifically targeted for events management students, this online session also benefited those intending to participate in exhibitions as part of their job scope.
