Taylor’s Student Teachers (TST) organised 2 events, the Practicum Forum and an ‘End-of-Sem’ gathering which was held on 6th August 2020 via Microsoft Teams. The Practicum Forum was a meeting to inform Student Teachers of what exactly entails in a Practicum, the Do’s and Don’ts and tips from those that have completed the Practicum.
The Forum was also a place for those who have completed Practicums to exchange new and interesting educational concepts, for the betterment of all.
Utilising Discord, students chatted, played several games and generally had fun. The feedback from those who attended has been great and so TST has decided to implement this gathering in all future semesters.
