Sharing Session with St. Regis KL Duty Manager Mr. Vimalan on Front Office Operations & Night Audit

Duty Manager oversees and coordinates daily operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment for employees.

In order to get more insight and details on this role, the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events were glad to have Mr. Vimalan AV Sornasekaran, Front Office Duty Manager from St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, who is also our Bachelor of International Hospitality Management (BIHM) and Marriott International STEP Alumnus, to deliver a talk on Managing Front Office Operations & Night Audit at one of the Expert Sharing Series session.

Mr. Vimalan shared his experience and knowledge on front office and night audit that involves daily operations, procedures, handling guest complaints, night audit process, clerical tasks and many more other tasks.

The students from Bachelor of International Hospitality Management (BIHM) programme under the Room Division Management module, thoroughly enjoyed the session with Mr. Vimalan who patiently answered all their queries and doubts on Front Office Operations and Night Audit.
