On 10th June 2020, School of Media and Communication invited Ms. Mayuri Mei Lin to present on various tools that can be used for Internet-based journalism in a lecture series session themed "Harnessing the Internet in Journalism: New Ways to Report the News Online".
Ms. Mayuri showed several examples and tools that are widely used today by journalists to bring fresh presentations to the news. She also gave tips and pointers for would-be journalists and others who wanted to try them.
The Q&A session yielded many questions from the audience who were keen to learn more about these methods and what they can do to pursue them.
