How Have Hotels Reshaped Their Operations to Adapt in The New Normal?


Mr. William Lim, Director of Learning & Development, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur and Ms. Anna Kueh, Manager of Human Resources, Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur are both experienced professionals from the industry. They were invited as guest speakers for a webinar organised by School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Taylor’s University entitled “How Have Hotels Reshaped Their Operations to Adapt in The New Normal?”.


Ms. Anna Kueh and Mr. William Lim shared their experience and their vision of the next normal hotel leading to new job opportunities. The students gained insights from the speakers’ point of views, engaging them on the current situation and how they responded positively to the crisis. Apart from that, Ms. Anna Kueh highlighted the importance of a well groom Hotelier and the significance and importance of education from diploma to bachelor’s degree in the hotel industry. A group of 102 participants attended the event. The session provide insights as to the future of job in hotel industry.
