PR Student Dialogue on "Adoption of Online Learning for Non-Disruptive Learning Process"


The School of Media and Communication has recently organized a Public Relations Student Dialogue on 17th June 2020. The Dialogue entitled “Adoption of Online Learning for Non-Disruptive Learning Process”, five invited speakers shared their experience of doing online learning since the Movement Control Order (MCO) started on 18th March 2020.

The invited speakers from Taylor’s University were Janice Chai, a Malaysian who won the National Champion L’Oreal Brandstorm 2020 with her presentation entitled “Embracing the New Norm as a Student” and Naahy Rasheed who presented from her hometown, Male in the Maldives with her presentation entitled “Coping with the New Norm”.

Both Year 2 speakers are currently doing their Bachelor of Mass Communication in Public Relations and Marketing. Other invited speakers were Afzal Nurshamiera Musa, final year student from International Islamic University Malaysia, with her presentation entitled “The Challenges on Online Learning and Ways to Overcome”; Ooi Jes See and Cheong Ming Hao, final year students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, with their presentation entitled “Online Learning is the future education”.

The emcee of the dialogue series was Rachel Yap, a Year 2 student who is doing her Bachelor of Mass Communication in Public Relations and Marketing at Taylor’s University.
