MyCEB organized a competition entitled "The New Norm in Organizing Future Events". The competition was opened to university students and industry professionals to submit their thoughts in the new norm in organizing future events. There were 3 categories namely convention, trade exhibition and corporate meeting & incentive.
2 Event Management students Ms. Lee Zhee Xuan and Ms. Denise Chy En-Ning from the Bachelor of International Events Management programme went against the odds and emerged as the 1st runner up in the Convention category of the competition as they were the only student team to pit against the industry. The students submitted their hybrid convention concept entitled Pain Management Convention 2021.
The student were trained by Ms. Ng Wai Yee, Lecturer from School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events. The students had the honour of receiving the prize from the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia.
