Taylor’s University and MAH Launch Professional Hospitality Certification Programme Through Strategic Partnership

On 10 March 2026, Taylor’s University and the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) marked a significant milestone with the signing of a Strategic Partnership Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and the official launch of the Professional Hospitality Certification Programme. The ceremony heralded a meaningful collaboration aimed at strengthening professional development and enhancing talent capabilities within Malaysia’s hotel industry.

The event was graced by Professor Dr. Barry Winn, Vice Chancellor and President of Taylor’s University, and Professor Dr. Neethiahnanthan Ari Ragavan, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management. Representing MAH were Datin Christina Toh, President, and Isaac Raj, Chief Executive Officer, alongside members from the MAH Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chapter. The distinguished guests shared valuable insights on the critical role of industry–academia collaboration in shaping the future of hospitality education and professional training in Malaysia.

The newly launched Professional Hospitality Certification Programme combines MAH’s extensive industry experience with Taylor’s University’s academic expertise, offering a structured four-level certification pathway. This programme is designed to support continuous learning, professional growth, and career advancement for hospitality practitioners at every stage of their careers.
