TUTAS Students Rocking the Stage for Bollywood Dreams

The announcement from the government about the re-opening of theatres and performing arts spaces, Bachelor of Performing Arts programme under TUTAS Conservatory (Taylor’s University and The Actors Studio), celebrated two of our students, Charity Yong and Feyee Bethany, who got selected for a theatre production performance as the main ensemble for Bollywood Dreams. This performance was held at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre from 24th - 28th March 2021 showcasing various Malaysian young artists.

Bollywood Dreams was written and adapted by our senior lecturer, Mark Beau De Silva together with Tillottama Pillai. It is a huge achievement for the Bachelor of Performing Arts programme to witness our students who are currently enrolled in the programme showcasing their expertise on stage under the direction of Dato’ (Dr.) Faridah Merican as part of The Actor’s Studio 2021 programmes. This will open up more opportunities for our students to experience life as industry performers aligning with our mission, to produce industry ready artists.
