In February, Taylor’s Culinary Institute (TCI) conducted a virtual campus visit along with 2 demonstrations by TCI lecturers for home schooling students from The Seeds Resource Center, a home-schooling Center located in Petaling Jaya. The students that were supposed to finish their secondary studies are brought throughout Taylor’s Lakeside Campus virtually as well as TCI world class facilities which offers Diploma in Culinary Arts for those who are interested to be well renowned Chefs and Diploma in Hotel Management for those who are interested to be future General Manager to manage 5 star hotels around the world.
In order to give them a glimpse of kitchen and hotel industry, the TCI lecturer taught students virtually on how to create a salad that is worthy in fine dining restaurants combined with the technique of table side fruit flambe which always amazes the guest. The 3 hours event include Student Recruitment and Experience team that gave an overview of study pathways of diploma and degree programme available in Taylor’s Lakeside Campus for students to get an overview on their career path.
