Ms. Magdalene Chew, Academic staff from Centre for Languages, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, was Invited to conduct a series of workshops for a total of 342 upper primary and secondary school teachers under a Professional Development Programme organised by state and district education departments and sponsored by Oxford Fajar.

‘The Future of Local Wisdom in the Era of the Industrial Revolution’

International Conference on Natural and Social Sciences, themed ‘The Future of Local Wisdom in the Era of the Industrial Revolution’ was held in Universitas Cokroaminoto Sulawesi, Indonesia. The Panel of speakers consisted of Prof. Jim Collins (UKM), Prof. John Macalister (Victoria University, NZ), Dr. Raqib Chowdary (Monash University, Australia) and Prema Ponnudurai ( Taylor’s University, Malaysia).

Timothy Kon and Edward Eng were awarded a Medallion of Excellence in Bakery and Cooking trade during the World Skills Competition 2019 in Kazan (Russia) Representing Malaysia at the international stage. They both went through a 4 days competitions, Congratulations. You made us proud!
