Dr Chong Li Choo from School of Food Studies & Gastronomy was nominated and received a travel grant by Korean Society for the Study of Obesity to present her research project during the 2019 International Congress on Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome & Asia-Oceania Conference on Obesity (ICOMES & AOCO 2019) on 29 – 31 August at Conrad Hotel, Seoul, Korea. The congress was attended by 1,000 delegates, speakers, and an audience from 40 countries. 18 selected Malaysian from public and private universities were awarded this special travel grant.
