A field trip for Bachelor of Science (Hons) (Culinology) semester 1 students exploring the Global Halal Food Innovation at the 16th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) The exhibition is renowned for showing the latest halal new product developments in latest food trends and in-depth insight across the global food and drink industry. Students witnessed the huge growth in many product trends including health foods, snacks and food to go categories, as well as an increasing demand for convenient and alternative protein snacks.
