Students from the Events Program visited the Wedding Fair 2019 at Mid Valley Exhibition Hall on 19 April. The 3 groups were from Exhibition Management (BE16 & BMC), Exhibition & Trade Show (DE12) and Event Venues & Facilities (DE14) modules. Students were there to inspect and review various components of an exhibition – from floor layout and booth design to visitor activities. Working in groups, they took the opportunity to capture many pictures of the event for their assignment compilation and assessments. From classroom to real scenarios, students were able to relate the theories to practical implementation, with views for improvement. It was not difficult to see which was their preferred method of learning.
