“Little-Joe” is a Social Engagement Initiative founded by 4 students from the American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP) who are baking enthusiasts. Their mission is to create a positive and loving environment so that the less privileged feel at home and cared for by the society. Within two months, they donated RM6,501.74 to OrphanCare.

This initiative ties in well with the concept of holistic education at ADTP which is rooted in experiential learning and places emphasis on relationships that people create with each other. The four ADTP students, Founders of Little-Joe - Rachel Lee Chee Ching, Khoo Yu Li, Dawn Yeoh Yi Tian, Low Kai-Teng and their lecturer Ms. Lim You Ping were featured in Sin Chew Daily on 10th March 2021.

These amazing young ladies are good role models to their peers. They collaborated with Introduction to Business students, being the Board of Consultant class. They inspire their peers to be more involved in charity and continue to expand Little-Joe’s outreach from this initiative.
