The Culinology ® department successfully promoted the bonding between Culinology ® students with the bi-annual student welcome party held on 3rd July 2020. The welcome party was creatively organised through Zoom Platform by using the break-out room feature for activities.
A total of 75 participants inclusive of Pn. Siti Ramadhaniatun Ismail, Head of School; Dr. Chong Li Choo, Programme Director; academic lecturers, current students and alumni joined this virtual party which highlighted the close-knit Culinology ® family.
An encouraging welcome speech was given by Dr. Chong Li Choo. The students were highly motivated by the sharing session of the 2020 RCA competition Champion team with questions on the process of competition preparation.
The new batch of students were also given a chance to taste the R&D process through food ideation games organised by the Culinology ® Club committee. This activity managed to excite the new batch BS18 students in food research & development and showcasing the research skills of their seniors.
