Taylor’s Hospitality Executive Forum which evolved into HEX Talk in it’s Hospitality Series 2022, hosted notable industry experts from Dubai, Malaysia and Hong Kong to share about the key trends in hospitality industry on "Reimagining and Reinventing Hospitality Industry – The way forward!”.
From the opening scene set by Prof. Dr. Neethiahnanthan Ari Ragavan, Executive Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences & Leisure Management in his welcome address, the reimagining leadership and the way forward speech by Mr. Tom Roelens, General Manager & Senior Vice President, Atlantis Dubai, there on to the emphasis on thinking differently and acting differently by Ms. Charissa Chan, Head of People Development, Swire Hotels, Hong Kong with the homely touch on Reimagining and Reinventing the Hospitality Industry by Mr. Yap Lip Seng, Chief Executive Officer, Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) and finally with the intriguing questions posed by the Moderator Dr. Joaquim Dias Soeiro, Head of School, School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events with the promising answers by all three speakers made the event more spectacular and impactful.
Kudos to the debut Masters of ceremony Alessandaro and Serti second year students from the Bachelor of International Hospitality Management programme, for their enthusiasm throughout the event. The Q&A session from the audience kept the panelists on an answering spree and the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, was certain that the 140 participants mixed with a good number of industry experts, academics and hospitality students were enlightened with the stirring HEX Talk 2022 - Hospitality Series.
