On 13th May 2020, Dr. Puvaneswaran Kunasekaran, Senior Lecturer from School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events was invited as guest speaker by University of Jammu, India to conduct a session entitled “Sustainability and Tourists Gaze”. The session was attended by more than 50 participants from Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Egypt, Nepal, and Philippines.
During the webinar, key strategies of tourism industry recovery were discussed critically. The scholars highlighted that domestic and pilgrimage tourism are projected to start operation this year ahead of International Tourism.
