On 24th April 2020, Dr. Jeetesh Kumar, Senior Lecturer from School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events was invited by Faculty of Business Studies, University of Jammu, India, to deliver a virtual sharing session entitled “Reflection of COVID-19 on the Global Economy: Crisis vs Opportunities”.
A group of 128 students and lecturers from the University of Jammu, Central University of Jammu, Ambedkar University of Delhi, and Taylor’s University attended the Webinar.
During the 90-minute session, Dr. Jeetesh and Prof. Dr. Parikshat presented the impacts of COVID-19 on the global economy, shared the concept of over-tourism to no-tourism, crisis & its reflection and the most important the positive aspect – opportunities formed amid of this epidemic were shared with the participants.
The virtual sharing session was initiated by Mr. Nikhil Singh, Assistant Professor at Ambedkar University and concluded by Dr. Ramjit, Coordinator at the Central University of Jammu, India.
