Students from DE14 were discovering secret passage ways as they went back stage at KLpac theatre at Sentul. As part of the module content for Event Venues & Facilities (EVT40104), these first semester students had fun exploring the various facilities for the performing arts. They even witnessed a local celebrity doing vocal warm-up at one of the studios. KLpac’s Manager, Lawrence, enthralled the students with trade jargons such as bouncing floors, sound traps, green rooms, vomitories, sound breakers, riggings, and much more. Lawrence also patiently explained the historical features of KLpac’s transformation from pre-war timber mill and a train depot. The visit was made more memorable as students get to try out the dressing rooms, explore the black box theatre and rehearsal rooms.
