Lecturer, Ms. Ng Wai Yee from the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management was invited as a panel speaker for the session “Hanging Out with My Best-Tea” at Meet In Malaysia @ Malaysia Business Event Week 2020 (MIM@MBEW 2020). The session panelists included Gerard Leeuwenburgh, General Manager of Informa Markets – UBM Malaysia, 2 students, and was moderated by Rahul Bharadwaj from Anderes Fourdy Sdn Bhd. Meet in Malaysia @ Malaysia Business Events Week 2020 is MyCEB’s signature annual education event for the business events industry.
It is a strategic platform built for industry players and stakeholders to share thoughts, skills and experience that gives impact to the development and sustainability of the business events industry This year, MIM@MBEW 2020 took place on 24th and 25th August 2020 with the theme “Rebuilding Confidence”. Malaysia Business Event Week (MBEW) is on a hybrid mode to make opportunities for international partners and industry players outside of Malaysia to join and be a part of the event despite the closure of international borders. The event was attended by 250 delegates and 200 online audiences.
