On 23rd April 2020, the School of Media and Communication, Taylor’s University organized a webinar with its former students, Daniel Cheang bin Adenan Cheang and Christopher Wong Poh Fai. Daniel Cheang who works as a host for ASTRO Gempak, graduated in 2018 while Christopher Wong Poh Fai, who is the founder of CB Mediaworks, graduated from Taylor’s University in 2017. Both were from the Public Relations and Marketing programme.
The objective of this webinar is to create a networking platform for Mass Communication students, especially the Public Relations students who will be exposed to various aspects of Public Relations from branding to event organizing, and from public speaking to media relations.
The webinar was attended by 50 participants, comprising students and lecturers, who listened attentively to the sharing session by both speakers. The Q & A session was very effective as many participants took part, either verbally or by sending messages, via the Chat room.
