The 8th of November 2022 will be remembered as a significant day for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management, Taylor's University, Malaysia and the reputed Villa College, Maldives as a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed for franchise partnership with three leading schools under the faculty.
This agreement was signed and witnessed by the top leadership from both institutions whereby Taylor’s University was represented by Prof. Dr. Pradeep Nair, Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Chief Academic Officer and Prof. Dr. Neethiahnanthan Ari Ragavan, Executive Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management. Villa College Maldives was represented by Dr. Ali Najeeb, Vice Rector and Mr. Abdul Munnim Mohamed Manik, Deputy Vice Rector.
In his speech, Dr. Ali Najeed enthusiastically stated that, ‘Villa College is honoured to have reached this partnership with Taylor’s University which has a long-standing relationship and is highly reputed in the Maldives for its quality educational programmes and stringent governance practices in ensuring excellent graduates’.
Through this strategic partnership, the prominent Taylor’s School of Media and Communication, School of Hospitality, Tourism & Events and School of Food Studies & Gastronomy will be offering five selected Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes to further expand its international reach and create a positive educational impact on the Maldivian community.
