
With the selection of Malaysian Skills in November, Taylor’s Culinary Institute (TCI) are proud to have two students, Woo Kai Wen and Eason Leong from Advanced Diploma in Patisserie and Gastronomic Cuisine (ADC) programme representing Malaysia to compete in WorldSkills 2022 in Shanghai. This prestigious competition held every two years once is an event that crowns the best in the vocational skills of numerous trades.
Woo Kai Wen will be competing in the Bakery Trade that will test her skills on artisan bread, viennoiserie, and artistic bread showpiece among all other nations. Eason Leong will be contesting in the Cooking Activity where he is required to prepare various courses ranging from appetizer, main course and plated dessert in the competition.
In WorldSkills 2019, both TCI students, Timothy Kon Keen Yi and Edward Eng Sheng Pei were awarded the Medallion of Excellence in these two respective trades. We are looking forward to Woo Kai Wen and Eason Leong winning the gold medal in Shanghai.
