Taylor's Culinary Institute Hosted Culinary Event for Indonesian Private Schools


Taylor’s Culinary Institute (TCI), Advanced Diploma in Patisserie and Gastronomic Cuisine Programme Director, Chef Aaron Tang Kok Keong together with two Indonesian students Michelle Irawan and Caryn Winarto who are currently studying at TCI, conducted a on campus visit and culinary workshop for 35 students from Sekolah Dian Harapan Bangka, a private school in Indonesia who are expected to further their tertiary education next year.

The campus tour provided opportunity to explain to them about the career prospect of a certain industry to have an insight on what they wish to do in the future. In order to give them a glimpse of the kitchen and hotel industry, TCI conducted a culinary workshop on the topic of Indonesian Inspired “Fat-caron”. They created a macaron that reflected the traditional flavors of ‘Kueh Klepon’ in Indonesia to showcase the student on the creativity and innovation in the culinary field.

This workshop also highlighted Taylor’s Culinary Institute which offers Diploma in Culinary Arts programme for those who are interested to be a well renowned chefs; and, Diploma in Hotel Management programme for those who are interested to be a future General Manager to manage 5-star hotels around the world.
