TCI Student Daniella Carissa Won Gold & Best Artistic Award at 2nd God of Thorns Pastry Competition

Taylor’s University School of Food Studies & Gastronomy (SFSG) organized the 2nd God of Thorns Pastry Competition 2021 in collaboration with Leslie Art Patisserie on 27 November 2021. The 2nd God of Thorns Pastry Competition was in search of bright, aspiring dessert chefs who are able to create and showcase a modern dessert based on the Musang King Durian paste. Ten aspiring chefs participated in the event and exhibited inspiring, innovative dessert-making techniques. It also turned out to be a good networking and sharing session among participants and judges with extensive industry experience.

The school would like to congratulate Daniella Carissa, pastry enthusiast from Taylor’s Culinary Institute (TCI) and currently student of Advanced Diploma in Patisserie & Gastronomic Cuisine programme in winning a Gold Medal and Best Artistic Award for her creation.
