Taylor's University was invited as one of the panelists for an online panel discussion on "The Hospitality & Tourism Industry Post COVID-19 Pandemic" organized by AIMS School of Hospitality & Tourism (AIMS Institutes).
The panel discussion was to understand the impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Tourism and Hospitality services and to uphold the core values of the hospitality service industry by sharing the responsibilities and minimizing the gap between the industry players and academicians to work better for a healthy and sustainable future of hospitality and tourism industry in India and globally.
The round table session consisted of participants from industry players, entrepreneurs, academicians and professional trainers.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kandappan Balasubramanian, Associate Professor from School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management shared his knowledge on the following areas:-
- Increase organizational resilience
- Preparedness of the staff to use new technology
- Ensure customer and staff well-being
- Develop strong leadership and collaboration
- Create a new model collaborating with other industries
