The Women’s Health Camp was co-organized by the Federation of Reproductive Health Associations, Malaysia (FRHAM) and Taylor’s American Degree Transfer Program on the 5th of February. The event was aimed at creating awareness concerning reproductive health with a focus on female students.
This event successfully attracted Taylor’s students to participate in the Zumba dance early in the morning. Subsequently, students attended the workshop conducted by Ms. Lim Hooi Shan, Programme Director of the Master’s in Clinical Psychology Programme entitled “Nurturing Your Mental Health’’ at Taylor’s University.
Dr. Vicky Ayadurai, Consultant Family Medicine Specialist conducted a workshop on “Let’s Talk about Sex” for the students. Students were given the option of free HIV testing, supported by a medical officer from the District Health Office, Klinik Kesihatan Kelana Jaya (PKD Petaling).
