Prof. Mohd Said Bani or fondly known as Prof. Bani, is the founder, owner and Managing Director of bzBee Consult Sdn Bhd, an integrated marketing and communications company specializing in strategic communications and media, issues and crisis communications, government relations and stakeholders management, events management, marketing and branding. He studied law in Sheffield University, United Kingdom and worked in Brian Thompson & Partner Solicitors from 1989 until 1994 as a solicitor. Upon coming back to Malaysia, he worked in numerous organizations such as Melewar Group of Companies, Telekom Malaysia, 3Circles Media and Fox Communications, before setting up bzBee Consult. He is very passionate about nurturing youth and he has been invited to give talks in several universities and colleges. His talks range from strategic communications to entrepreneurship. As for achievements, he has lead bzBee Consult with a rating of a 4-star high performing bumiputera company by SME Corp, won several accolades and recognitions such as CSR Awards 2018 Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Environmental Award 2018, Crisis/ Issues Management Award 2018 and SME & Entrepreneurship Business Award Premier Edition 2017/2018 just to name a few. As for his affiliations, he is a member of Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), FINAS (Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional Malaysia), High Performing Bumiputera Company under the unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera, Prime Minister’s Department and Malaysian – Indonesian Corporate House, Bandung, Indonesia. He was appointed as the first adjunct professor for Public Relations Programmes in April 2019 for the School of Media and Communication, Taylors’ University.

Mr Shukri Rifaie has more than 30 years experience in the advertising industry. He was the Chief Executive Officer of two multinational advertising agencies; Bates Malaysia and Publicis Groupe Malaysia. Over the course of his career, he has also worked on and been a part of the success of Malaysia’s most respected brands and corporations, including Malaysia Airlines, Tourism Malaysia, Coca-Cola, Nokia, 100PLUS, Shell, Nestle, Unilever, Mamee, Gillette, Opel, Hotlink from Maxis, Citibank, Hewlett Packard, L’Oreal – Garnier, Nestle, Cadbury, Sara Lee (Brylcreem), P&G (Oral B), MSIG, Western Union, Sime Darby Property and Ayamas. He currently runs his own strategic brand marketing consultancy partnership: Rifaie, Chua & Sethi Sdn Bhd. He is also the co-founder of REKANEGARA, a design community advocate with an aim to empower creative professionals via knowledge sharing programs by volunteers with vast industry experience from various creative, design and brand marketing disciplines.
MR. HARMANDAR SINGH

Mr Harmandar Singh, better known as Ham, has been in marketing and brand communications for over 30 years. He created more than 400 commercials and won over 50 local and international awards. He was the creative Director for 15 years at McCann-Erickson KL, Manila, NY, London. He used to be a weekly columnist for The Star for more than 11 years, and as a highly respected commentator on marketing and brand communications under his pen-name SLEDGEHAMMER to over a million readers. Mr Harmandar is also actively involved in community service. He serves as a committee member at Mercy Malaysia and has travelled to places like Lebanon and Katmandu to help the Syrian refuges and earthquake victims.
MR. ANDY SEE TEONG LENG

Mr Andy See Teong Leng is the Founder, Principal Partner and Managing Director of Perspective Strategies. He started his career in PR consulting in 2001 when he joined Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, specializing in financial communication and corporate reputation management for public listed and multinational clients. Subsequently, Andy joined a local boutique agency and was instrumental in establishing the firm’s Public Affairs Practice. During his stint as the firm’s Director of Public Affairs and Business Development, he further enhanced his specialization in the areas of issues management, strategic communication and communication research. Over the years, he has worked with government agencies and companies in the energy, oil & gas, banking & finance, FMCG, entertainment and infrastructure development sectors. He has also conducted various workshops, coaching sessions and media training for Heads of Government Departments, CEOs as well as Industry & Corporate Spokespeople. Prior to PR consulting, he worked for The Boston Consulting Group between 1997 and 2001 as an Information & Research Specialist. He was also responsible for the firm’s marketing communications function between 2000 and 2001. Andy holds an Honours Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Currently, he is the President of the Public Relations & Communications Association of Malaysia (PRCA Malaysia), spearheading efforts to champion the interest of PR professionals including industry best practices, quality and standards as well as talent development. He also actively contributes articles and thought leadership pieces on PR, leadership and strategic communications in various publications and online platforms. On the global front, Andy is on the Executive Committee of the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), one of the world's leading independent PR agency networks. He serves as the Secretary and Regional Vice-President for Asia Pacific (APAC).
MS. LINA TAN

Ms. Lina Tan, founded Red Communications Sdn Bhd in 1999 after 8 years in advertising and television. An alumni of University Sains Malaysia (USM) where she graduated with a Mass Communications degree in 1991, she believes that content matters and in this she has created a variety of television programs and commercials focusing on women issues, youth and kids. Among them is a ground-breaking social awareness program designed to empower young women called 3R (Respect, Relax and Respond) which has won numerous awards and ran on Malaysian television for 10 years. More than just a Television show, it also ran workshops, events and online videos on issues that mattered to young women. The show has also been sold in Singapore and produced as a format in Philippines and Vietnam. She was also responsible for creating Oh My English for Astro which is a kid’s educational TV series. The successful show has been running for five years and spawned annual English language workshops in rural schools as well as magazines and interactive online games. Lina has worked with Disney Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic and AETN producing original content as well as localizing international formats. This include documentaries on Tun Dr Mahathir, Tony Fernandez, Siti Nurhaliza, Operation Sumatran Rhino and international formats My Ghost Stories, You Have Been Warned, Project Runway, As the Bell Rings and Club Mickey Mouse. In 2004, she set up RED Films, which proved instrumental in supporting the new wave of Malaysian filmmakers like Ho Yuhang, James Lee, Amir Muhammad and Woo Ming Jin whose films proceeded to screen at international film festivals and win awards. Lina then started producing RED Films original feature length films with a commercial aim. Since then, Lina has produced a total of 12 films which are critically acclaimed and box office hits. She has kick started the careers of many film directors, writers and producers in the Malaysian Industry who are now industry leaders. Lina always believes people are the cornerstone of her companies and she continues to nurture new creative talent to make awesome content.
MS. ZABRINA FERNANDEZ

Ms Zabrina Fernandez is the co-founder of Wildsnapper TV Sdn Bhd, which opened its doors in 2013. Upon graduation, Zabrina began her career in film and television in the newsroom. Knowing that her passion was in telling people’s stories, Zabrina joined the 7DiPihak Anda team to bring stories to light in order to evoke change. Some of the stories she pursued with the team made it possible for underprivileged children to go to school for the first time. Zabrina learnt that she had the capability to be front of camera talent as well as back of camera producer. Her unique ability in excelling in both roles, quickly made her a valuable asset for the local and international market. Sensing that people’s stories can be told in multiple ways, Zabrina moved to the entertainment industry with Channel [V] Asia. Here, her creativity played a huge role in coming up with the some of the channel’s new ground-breaking shows at the time, namely Popparazi and Arcade, which is a magazine show and gaming show respectively. This, at a time when gaming was just becoming mainstream and popular. More than interviews and the daily running of a show, Zabrina mentored new producers and interns into the field. This experience took her to filming in over 32 countries around the world over 5 years and even working extensively with the Australian reality tv industry. By the time Zabrina co-founded Wildsnapper TV in 2013, she had over 14 years of experience in radio, print, television news, local and international entertainment TV. Wildsnapper TV began with producing The Apprentice Asia, alongside production giant Fremantle Asia. In 2018, Zabrina co-wrote, produce and directed the very first Malaysian-Iranian co-production feature length film titled Lahzeye Bi Payan| In An Endless Instant which starred multiple award-winning star, Nur Fazura. Zabrina has shied away from awards except for one. She is an International Emmy Winner 2012 under the Non-Scripted Entertainment category for her role as Producer in The Amazing Race Australia.
MR KUEK SER KUANG KENG

Mr Kuek Ser Kuang Keng is an award-winning digital journalist, data journalism trainer and media consultant based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is the founder of Data-N, a training program that helps newsrooms and journalists with limited resources to integrate data journalism into daily reporting. Data-N has helped publications like Foreign Policy, BBC World Service, Mediacorp, Malaysiakini and Sin Chew Daily to strengthen their storytelling with data, visual and interactive components. Partnering with regional journalism organizations including Google News Initiatives, WAN-IFRA and Internews, he has been conducting regular digital journalism workshops online and offline across Asia since 2018, reaching more than 1,000 journalists in the region. He also provides consulting and mentoring services to media organizations in data, visual and interactive journalism. Keng is a frequent speaker and panellist at international journalism events including Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJN), Global Editors Network (GEN) Summit, TechCamp, Splice Beta, Trusted Media Summit and DataFest Tbilisi. Keng has more than ten years of experience in digital journalism. He was a journalist with Malaysiakini for eight years specializing in investigative and political reporting.
MR. DAIN ISKANDAR SAID

Mr Dain Said directed his first film in 2006, Shaman, but his screenings were banned as it had to do with Mona Fandey’s case. His second directorial film, Bunohan screened in 2012 and represented Malaysia at the 85th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film in February 2013. Bunohan went on to win the NETPAC Award at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival. Bunohan received thirteen nominations for the 25th Malaysian Film Festival and won eight awards, including the five major categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Story, Best Screenplay and Best Actor/Actress. The film also earned four Anugerah Skrin nominations, winning the categories for Best Picture and Best Screenplay, while being nominated for Best Director (Dain Said) and the Best Actor (Faizal Hussein) categories. His third directorial film, Interchange released in December 2016, and was screened at the Locarno International Film Festival in August 2016. He and Nandita Solomon set up Apparat Sdn. Bhd. which specializes in film production.
DATO’ SARJIT SINGH BANTA SINGH

Dato’ Sarjit Singh Banta Singh, Deputy President of Malaysian Leisure and Recreation Council (MARFIMA) 1997-2021, is an experience person in the travel and tourism sector from his many years working in both public and private sectors. He has held many advisory positions in public sector in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Ministry of Tourism Malaysia; Malaysian Sports Tourism Council just to name a few. His positions in the private sector range from Executive Director to being a member of many committees. He was involved in the Malaysian Association of Hotels, ASEAN Hotel and Restaurant Association, ASEAN Tourism Association, Kuala Lumpur Tourism Action Council. In 1998, he opted for an early retirement to join the management team of in the private sector. He was appointed the Adjunct Professor for the School of Media and Communication, Taylors’ University in April 2021.

Professor Lu Bin is one of China’s top academics and practitioners, having been heavily involved in the Chinese film industry for over 15 years as an award-winning film producer, and has published over a dozen books. He is currently the Director of the Teaching Guidance Committee and the Dean of the Department of Media Management at Beijing Film Academy Modern Creative Media College.
