Taylor’s University has received the Business Events (BE) Education Excellence Award by the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS) during the inaugural Malaysia Business Events Award (MBEA) on 23rd October 2019.


This award recognises Taylor’s University for its outstanding contribution to inculcate the power of Business Events and impart the industry knowledge within the youth community. This award was decided based on the contributions in the areas of coaching students in organising academic events, active participation in the national and international BE relevant activities, direct teaching, collaboration and research in education and the development for BE relevant educational programs.

With close to 15 years of experience and several competition wins under his belt, including Best Chef Award 2018 in Peru, Chef Jaime led our students from Diploma in Culinary Arts & Advanced Diploma in Patisserie and Gastronomic Cuisine on a Peruvian culinary journey


On 8th August 2019, a beverage development workshop was held at C-Essence. This workshop was attended by a group of international students from Xi An, China. The purpose of this workshop was to create awareness among students on Culinology programme and create their interest to join us in near future. This workshop included a programme briefing followed by hands-on activity on how to produce flavor-water-sphere as well as rainbow mocktail. All the students enjoyed learning the science behind the ingredients & ideation in food beverage innovation.
