Taylor's University has been recognized as a “Platinum Member” as per the IDP Pathway to Success Referral Partner Program 2019. Hence, a new Referral Partner Recognition Program 20/21 has been extended to Taylor’s. The Platinum Recognition offers many benefits above the regular referral Partner Recognitions, which include discounts on IELTS workshops, resource books and complimentary IELTS tests. A note of acknowledgement goes to the Centre for Languages (CFL) for enhancing Intensive English (IEN) student experience in achieving the English requirement which will allow them to proceed to their next level of study at Taylor’s University.

Partnership with IDP has brought about several perks including invitations for CFL lecturers to attend free IELTS Teacher’s Training, as well as invitations for IEN students to attend free IDP IELTS Masterclass Webinars which are presented by official IELTS experts. CFL’s mission is to provide high quality, holistic education and development programmes through the pursuit of language learning at the highest level of excellence. Hence, language workshops are organized by CFL to enhance support for students.

Recently, an IELTS workshop was conducted by IELTS examiner Ms. Koh Bee Lian from IDP Education for IEN students at Taylor's University who were preparing for the IELTS exam. IEN is a programme that is designed to improve English Language proficiency from lower intermediate to upper intermediate level. There are three intakes a year, and the next intake (March 2021) commences on 29 March 2021. Besides the IEN programme, CFL also offers other language modules such as Mandarin, Korean, French and Bahasa Melayu to Taylor’s University students.
