Bachelor of Psychology students Ian Shen Goh, Janak Ashok Teckwani, Ze Ren Ku, Kezia George, and Nicole Yuk Cheng Lee, as well as their research supervisor, Ms. Pang Chia Yee, have successfully published their research project titled ‘Feminism and a View of Conservative Gender Roles among Young Working Women in Malaysia' in the Malaysian Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (MJSSH). Google Scholar, UD Ledge: Social Science & Humanities Citation Index (SS & HCI), MyJurnal, MyCite, and the Directory of Research Journals Indexing have all included this journal in their indexes (DRJI). Ms. Pang Chia Yee recognised the value in these students' work and encouraged them to publish their paper.

Despite the fact that this required more work from the students, they were enthusiastic and pursued the possibility of publishing. The students had to respond to the reviewers' comments several times on a tight deadline while still attending classes during the semester, so the journey to publication was not easy. Ms. Pang Chia Yee was also there to help them along the way. Their efforts were rewarded with their article been accepted for publication. This demonstrates the calibre of Taylor's University Bachelor of Psychology students, who were able to publish alongside professional researchers. Bachelor of Psychology programme aspires to continue developing students into outstanding individuals who are catalysts for positive change in our society.

Students from the Bachelor of International Tourism Management (Hons.) Event Management programme organised Art & Soul 2021, a virtual make-up competition via Zoom and Facebook live. This event included three workshops: making a bath bomb, crocheting, and oil painting. In addition, as part of Art & Soul, the students held a makeup competition on Facebook Live. Only the top ten shortlisted participants with the most votes were considered for the competition.

The event's goal was to provide a platform for local artists to showcase their incredible talent through workshops, as well as for participants to learn and have fun at the same time. One of the most unique aspects of our workshops was that, once registered, participants would receive a goodie box containing all of the materials they would need for their respective workshops. There were 60 participants in total across three workshops, and students were able to reach more than 100 viewers for their Facebook live. The students are also able to secure two sponsors, MKLZ and COCOdry.

The winners received a total of RM 2100 in cash and vouchers sponsored by the sponsors. Furthermore, students were able to fund their event by selling hand sanitizers, selling 60 workshop slots, and collecting competition registration fees. Students put in a lot of effort from the beginning of the semester to make this final year project a success. As a result, before leaving for their internship, they were able to gain experience planning and preparing for a virtual event. Furthermore, the event concept was included in Taylor's Innofest, and the students received positive feedback on their project.
