Associate Professor Dr. Roslina Latif from Taylor's School of Media and Communication published a book entitle "Redamancy - Connecting Threads Between You and Me". During the ‘Meet and Greet’ session with the author for her latest book "Redamancy", many had the opportunity to meet her in person.


Dr. Roslina contributed to Malaysia Day 2022 with a Malaysian story by a Malaysian female author. She did a similar reading for "Sidelines, My Debut Novel". "Redamancy" is the sequel.


Just the week before, "Redamancy" won '50 Best Malaysian Titles for International Rights for 2021/22' to the Frankfurt International Book Fair, the biggest book fair in the world. She have been invited to Frankfurt, Germany for this event.

Pacific Asia Travel Association Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) organized a team-building event for the batch 2022/2023 members which comprises of 20 Tourism and Hospitality students from various countries such as Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Maldives etc. at Putrajaya Wetland Park. The team-building was aimed for the members to know each other and plan the activities together for year 2022/2023.

The members enjoyed themselves and actively participated in all activities such as ice breaking session, leadership role game, keep the secret game, and teamworking game. The senior members also took this opportunity to share their experiences and challenges in handling PATA MTSC's virtual activities and events with the juniors. All members were overwhelmed with the beauty of eco-tourism destination while enjoying delicious local food from Malaysia, Nasi Lemak.

Besides being a university student, the involvement of PATA MTSC helps the students to experience real life learning experiences and networking with tourism stakeholders. PATA MTSC is recruiting and welcoming more students to be part of their family to organize and enjoy the tourism activities.

Taylor’s Culinary Institute (TCI), Advanced Diploma in Patisserie and Gastronomic Cuisine Programme Director, Chef Aaron Tang Kok Keong together with two Indonesian students Michelle Irawan and Caryn Winarto who are currently studying at TCI, conducted a on campus visit and culinary workshop for 35 students from Sekolah Dian Harapan Bangka, a private school in Indonesia who are expected to further their tertiary education next year.

The campus tour provided opportunity to explain to them about the career prospect of a certain industry to have an insight on what they wish to do in the future. In order to give them a glimpse of the kitchen and hotel industry, TCI conducted a culinary workshop on the topic of Indonesian Inspired “Fat-caron”. They created a macaron that reflected the traditional flavors of ‘Kueh Klepon’ in Indonesia to showcase the student on the creativity and innovation in the culinary field.

This workshop also highlighted Taylor’s Culinary Institute which offers Diploma in Culinary Arts programme for those who are interested to be a well renowned chefs; and, Diploma in Hotel Management programme for those who are interested to be a future General Manager to manage 5-star hotels around the world.
