On the 17th of February 2020, Taylor’s University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Universiti Malaya. The partnership sees two icons come together to design a new educational landscape in our country, one that upholds the importance of arts and culture. With this MOU, Taylor’s University and Universiti Malaya will be collaborating in terms of faculty exchange and working towards funneling Taylor’s University Bachelor of Performing Arts students into UM’s master's program for performing arts. Associate Professor. Dr. Mohd Nasir Bin Hashim, the Dean of the Cultural Centre, University Malaya; Prof. Dr. Neethiahnanthan Ari Ragavan, the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management; Dr. Marlenny Deernewan, the Head of Drama at The Cultural Centre, University Malaya; Associate Professor Dr. Anindita Dasgupta, the Head of School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Head of Schools, Head of Departments, Programme Directors, and other staff were present during this significant ceremony.

On the 8th of February 2020, 150 diploma students from two schools: School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events & School of Food Studies and Gastronomy, toured the campus, visiting Block D rooftop, Chemistry lab, Kitchen, Carpentry workshop and Chiller room to understand the importance of SAFETY FIRST at the workplace. The students thoroughly enjoyed learning the practical aspects of the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) requirements.

45 American Degree Transfer Programme (ADTP) students participated in the Lens Studio Workshop organised by Taylor’s ADTP and conducted by Mr. Noah Cellura from Snapchat on the 6th of February 2020. Students created their own Augmented Reality (AR) camera after attending the workshop. Subsequently, they were awarded a Snap-Taylor’s participation certificate after completing the Lens Studio workshop.
